“It has now been more than 20 years since the doctor told me I had colon cancer [a tumor about the size of a baseball had been found underneath his left rib cage]. When I first heard the word “cancer,” it struck terror in me. I was scared because I knew what I was facing. As a pastor, I had sat at the bedside of many cancer victims and conducted their funerals throughout my ministry. And I had recently watched my own Mother die a slow, torturous death after her colon cancer was treated with chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Refusing to subject my body to those same medical treatments that I felt had helped kill my Mom, I sought an alternative. Fortunately, I had a preacher friend in Texas by the name of Lestor Roloff who encouraged me to simply change my diet [to a vegetarian regime composed largely of raw fruits and vegetables] and lifestyle and drink lots of freshly extracted carrot juice! It sounded too simple, but, I took his advise… drastically and overnight changed my diet and lifestyle and almost immediately started to get well! Within one year, not only was my cancer gone, but so were all my other physical problems. These included high blood pressure, severe sinus and allergy problems, hemorrhoids, hypoglycemia, fatigue, pimples… even body odor and dandruff!” Emphasizing the wisdom of the Genesis 1:29 diet of raw fruits and vegetables handed down to mankind in the Garden of Eden story, Rev. Malkmus teaches that God created our bodies to be self-healing, and that this healing works best when we give our bodies nutrition in the form of raw foods as God intended. Rev. Malkmus teaches that the more mankind strays from the original Genesis 1:29 diet of raw fruits and vegetables, the more likely sickness is to occur. He emphasizes that raw fruits and vegetables are the foods by which our Creator intended us to be nourished and sustained in perfect health, and that Genesis also states that God intends us to earn this food by “the sweat of thy face” (exercise). He also reminds Christians that our bodies are the “temple of God,” and that, “If any man defile the temple, him shall God destroy. . . .” “All healing must come from within the body as we give the body the proper building materials with which to heal itself. Our body is a living organism made up of living cells, and living cells require living food (raw food) to function properly. All cooked food is dead food and devoid of almost any nutrition.” “I have also learned that the fastest way to restore the body to wellness is not through the eating of raw food alone, but also by consuming large quantities of raw, freshly-extracted vegetable juices. The juices do not heal. But what they do is provide the body with concentrated building materials so the body can heal itself. The first part of the body that will restore when given the proper nutrients is the immune system. As the immune system restores, then it seeks out the trouble spots throughout the body and starts to heal them. And it doesn’t matter what the symptoms are, the body is self-healing when we stop the offense and provide the body cells with the proper building materials,” Malkmus concludes.
